Exploring the Golden Triangle: Local Thai Markets in Chang Rai

Traveling throughout the Golden Triangle by boat we explored some Thai markets.

We were introduced to 1000 year old eggs which are also called horse pee eggs. Can you guess why?

They are eggs that’s are dyed in tea and buried in the ground for 15 days. They’re not cooked, but they become the consistency of jello. They smelled worse than they look!

We traveled up to the highest point along the river of the Golden Triangle.

And then we headed back to the camp for a massage.
